This relationship has grown from strength to strength. In 2006 we were awarded the supply of the Australasian McCafe and Management uniforms and we have launched several high-quality new ranges for both McDonald’s and McCafe in the years since. In fact, in July 2018, Deane rolled out 35,000 units for McCafe in 2 weeks making every delivery in full and on time.
Deane is unique because we have the infrastructure and resources to manage an account of this size on a trans-Tasman basis. With over 1,100 McDonald’s restaurants in Australia and New Zealand, this requires meticulous planning, design ingenuity and flawless customer service. Our logistics operations are a well-oiled machine – we hold stock on the shelf ready to be dispatched and distributed within days of receiving the order.
Meanwhile, McDonald’s customer experience is seamless due in part to Deane’s online portal Silk, which allows individual restaurants to place orders by job role and location. Silk provides a visual display of the uniforms, an intuitive ordering process, the ability to view previous purchases and order tracking.
Ultimately though, despite their status as one of the biggest companies in the world, McDonald’s is a business built upon honesty and integrity and it maintains a strong sense of social responsibility – as evidenced by the brand’s ongoing support of the Ronald McDonald House Charity. These are values that speak clearly to and align closely with our own, which is why Deane is proud to bring the Macca’s brand to life.
