A trans-Tasman relationship that pays off for a car rental major

What is a corporate wardrobe? To the Australian and New Zealand division of car rental giant Hertz, it’s more than just clothing. It’s the face of a global brand and something it entrusts on both sides of the Tasman to Deane Apparel.

Deane designs and delivers the Hertz wardrobe to 2600 staff in almost 400 locations in a relationship that goes back to 2017, when Deane started serving Hertz’s New Zealand operations. In 2021 Hertz Australia and New Zealand retired its existing global corporate wardrobe supplier and, after a competitive tender, asked Deane to look after its Australian operations as well.

"I’ve just ordered the two staff jackets – what a fantastic ordering system you’ve got set up! It was so easy to use, thank you."

"I can’t say enough how helpful you and Debbie have been – and patient! You are always so thorough, professional and friendly – even when we make all the mistakes! Your whole team have been wonderful, and this can only mean success for your company. Thanks again."

"Just wanted to say that your new online site is great and the order history is really easy to view and see where your back orders are. Very easy to use site."
