Q&A with Christie Pope
Service Delivery Manager
OACIS are new international ground handling company, with a focus on off airport check-in. They have recently arrived on the scene in Auckland, making a name for themselves by taking on ground handling contracts for the second and third largest airlines, Qantas & Fiji Airways, arriving and departing out of Auckland International Airport.
What were OACIS looking to achieve with the uniform?
We were needing a uniform that was comfortable and that made us stand out. This had its challenges as we were working with a very short time frame, so were looking for quick turn around, a simple yet effective, inclusive solution.
What were some of the positive impacts?
Laurelin made the process from start to finish really easy. The use of the online ordering system to place and track orders is really helpful, especially being able track allocation of uniform per employee with the independence of the employee being able to purchase or order their own uniform moving forward. The turn around was really quick.
How was the roll out?
It went really well! The suggestion of purchasing size kits was great and really helped with the fittings and was also utilised by those team members who were waiting for Airline specific uniforms.
Working with Deane has been really easy, fast, and bought to life an effective uniform solution for us. Laurelin and team there are really responsive and helpful, giving advice and options for not just now but the future also. I look forward to continually working with Deane.
