As we reflect on the past year, we stop and savour one of our biggest accolades yet - winning the prestigious Operational Excellence Award at Air New Zealand’s annual Tūhono Supplier Awards. From a supplier base of over 4,000 organisations, Deane was recognised for its exceptional contribution to the airline's operational performance.

The Tūhono Supplier Awards were launched in 2019 as a way to celebrate and acknowledge the remarkable contributions of suppliers to Air New Zealand's success. Air New Zealand's Chief Executive Officer, Greg Foran, highlighted the significance of suppliers like Deane Apparel, emphasizing that the airline spends over $3.4 billion annually with its suppliers.

The Operational Excellence Award is a symbol of the strong partnership between Deane Apparel and Air New Zealand as well as a testament to our amazing team who strive to deliver operational excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, every day.
